How Much Does Candy AI Cost? Our Pricing Review
What Candy AI costs depends on how long a plan you pick and on whether you stream via the CandyShorts website or inside the Candy.ai app. Below are all the numbers with dates, together with the rules for cancelling and refunds.
Quick answer
Checked October 2026As of September 2026, Candy AI Premium comes as $47.88 for a full year (about $3.99 monthly), $8.99 per month if you pay every quarter, or $13.99 for single months. Premium opens every Candy Shorts episode after the two free ones, plus the video, image and chat tools of Candy.ai. In the app some episodes cost extra tokens, while on candyshorts.com the subscription is sufficient. You can cancel anytime, and access lasts until the paid period ends.

The plans side by side
In 2026 Candy AI pricing boils down to one product, Premium, which comes in three lengths, and the longer you commit the lower the monthly rate. The CandyShorts checkout listed the plans below as of September 2026, and that same Premium tier also covers Candy.ai’s app features for chat, images and video. If you want to know what the product actually is, read our overview of Candy AI Shorts.
| Plan | Amount charged | Advertised discount | Monthly equivalent |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 months | A single yearly payment of $47.88 | 70% off | $3.99 |
| 3 months | One payment per quarter | 35% off | $8.99 |
| 1 month | Charged monthly | None | $13.99 |

What you can do without paying
Not everything costs money. Nearly every series lets you watch Episodes 1 and 2 through a free account, which also gives access to the Candy Shorts feed. Spicy-tagged series are the exception: fourteen of 162 titles carried the tag on October 17, 2026, and none of them has a free episode. What the no-cost layer covers is spelled out in our free Candy AI Shorts guide.
Payment begins at Episode 3 (Episode 1 for Spicy series), and ad-free playback and offline viewing sit behind the same wall. Sampling is free, but finishing a story takes Premium.
Before paying I spent a week on the free tier. Two episodes were a fair sample, and they sorted my watchlist into three series to follow and ten to drop.
Choosing between monthly, quarterly and annual
The annual route is $3.99 a month, paid as $47.88 at once, which comes in under four months of the $13.99 plan. The quarterly plan sits between the two.
- Monthly suits someone who wants to finish a series or two and leave; nothing binds you beyond thirty days.
- Quarterly gives a season-length commitment with no year-long charge.
- Annual fits people already using Candy.ai for chat or image generation, since a single Premium pays for both products, and the annual rate is the origin of the headline 70% figure.
Purchase on the platform where you plan to watch. The subscription alone opens the full catalog on candyshorts.com, while some episodes inside the Candy.ai app also draw on tokens.
How tokens work, and when Shorts spends them
Tokens are Candy.ai’s in-app currency. Each renewal date typically adds 100 tokens as the monthly Premium allowance, and as of September 2026 you could buy extra packs from $9.99 per 100. Chat does not consume tokens; requests for images, voice or video do, as does opening certain episodes found under the Candy Shorts tab of the app.
This has two practical effects. Someone who watches a lot inside the app can end up spending more than the subscription price, which users complain about repeatedly in discussions, and the platform terms say any leftover tokens lapse once a subscription ends. For viewers who only want the series, candyshorts.com avoids tokens altogether.
Admission: my first token allowance vanished on image requests instead of episodes. Only later did I see that the flat-fee Shorts site would have opened the identical series. Lesson learned.
Cancelling your Candy AI subscription
Cancel anytime is how the plans are advertised. Because CandyShorts payments run through Candy.ai, that is where you cancel: go to Settings via My Profile, then press the Unsubscribe button located at the very bottom, according to the help center. As of September 2026 the terms say:
- Cancelling halts the next renewal but does not end access right away.
- Premium remains active through the period you already paid for, and then the account reverts to the free tier.
- Tokens you have not used expire along with the subscription instead of carrying over.
- You may re-subscribe later on the same account, but earlier tokens do not transfer.
Cancel ahead of the renewal date rather than after it. Miss that date on the annual plan and you are charged $47.88 again, while the refund policy covered next is narrow.
Refunds, payment options and the line on your statement
Since CandyShorts purchases are handled by Candy.ai, two sets of terms are relevant. The CandyShorts terms describe purchases as generally non-refundable, although a refund may be granted at the company’s discretion if requested within 24 hours of paying by card, as long as the buyer has not streamed or opened any paid media. The Candy.ai terms describe the same window in different words: 24 hours, card payments only, and denied once the user has used more than 20 tokens. Nothing is returned to accounts restricted for rule violations, and a chargeback ends the plan at once. Residents of the EU and UK also hold a separate right to withdraw within 14 days of the initial purchase, minus a prorated charge for what they consumed, and it excludes renewals.
Accepted methods per the help center are bank transfer (Volt, Pix), cryptocurrency, Apple Pay, Google Pay and credit or debit cards, depending on where you live. The statement line reads EverAI, which is how the operator is legally named, with company number C107181 in Malta, so search for that name before disputing an unfamiliar entry. More on payment security is in the Candy AI safety guide.
Promo codes, discounts and trials
The annual plan carries a 70% discount and the quarterly plan 35%, and that is the biggest saving on offer. Candy.ai advertises a trial period alongside some Premium offers, yet no trial unlocks full series; free users see Episodes 1 and 2 of titles lacking the Spicy tag.
Be wary of coupon sites advertising bigger Candy AI promo codes; many belong to the same networks that push bogus video players and forms that harvest card numbers, which we dissect in the leak breakdown for Candy AI Shorts. Enter card details solely at candy.ai or candyshorts.com.
Review verdict
Does Candy AI Premium earn its price? Next to subscription adult sites, the annual rate is low, and two free episodes let you test the format first (the paid episodes carry an explicit rating; our content rating guide goes into detail). Our main complaint is that the true cost is divided between plan and tokens, which means anyone new to the Candy.ai app may pay above the headline price for episodes that the Shorts site opens for one flat fee.
I settled on the quarterly plan at candyshorts.com. Per month it undercuts a takeout dinner, tokens never come into it, and I put a calendar alert on the renewal date since I would otherwise forget.
Newcomers should begin free, switch to monthly if the format converts them, and consider annual only after it has held their attention. Check the terms before paying, because everywhere beyond the EU and UK the window to ask for a refund lasts just one day.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Candy AI Premium cost?
As of September 2026, a year of Premium costs $47.88 (equal to $3.99 a month), the quarterly plan is $8.99 a month, and a single month is $13.99. One Premium covers Candy Shorts plus the video, image and chat features inside Candy.ai. Promotions change prices, so check the official checkout.
Is Candy AI free to try?
Only after the free portion. Signing up for free unlocks the Candy Shorts feed, Episodes 1 and 2 of each non-Spicy series, and a cut-down version of the chat product. A Premium plan is needed for ad-free playback, offline viewing, Spicy-tagged series and anything from Episode 3 on.
How do tokens work on Candy AI?
Tokens are the currency used inside the Candy.ai app. Premium adds 100 tokens each month, and extra packs are sold from $9.99 per 100, and they cover image, voice and video requests as well as unlocking some episodes in the app; chat does not spend them. Via candyshorts.com a plan alone opens every series.
How can I cancel Candy AI?
Sign in to Candy.ai, go to My Profile and then Settings, and press Unsubscribe at the very bottom; plans bought on CandyShorts are managed from the same spot. Cancelling ends future renewals, Premium keeps working until the paid period is over, and the account then goes back to free. Unused tokens lapse. A refund is possible only when requested inside 24 hours after paying by card and when usage has been small or nil.
What does Candy AI show on a bank statement?
In its help center the platform says the charge appears as EverAI, not the Candy AI brand name; EverAI is the registered legal name of the operator in Malta that stands behind Candy.ai and CandyShorts. Bank transfer, cryptocurrency, Apple Pay, Google Pay and credit or debit cards are all accepted, and CandyShorts payments are handled by Candy.ai.
Does Candy AI have promo codes?
The advertised discounts are part of the plans themselves: quarterly plans get 35% off and annual plans 70%. Candy.ai sometimes promotes a free trial, but none opens full series. Coupon sites offering bigger codes often lead to fake checkouts, so stick to the official site.
