Roxy’s Wet Weekend reviewed: a rained-in step-sibling story that ends in about fifteen minutes

Premise

Roxy’s Wet Weekend sits among the shorter Candy Shorts titles, a series format available both on candyshorts.com and within the Candy.ai app. Roxy is housebound for a weekend with her stepbrother, whose stares she has spent months pretending not to notice. The official blurb frames it as a question: either she can’t take it any longer, or perhaps she can. The plot hinges on the instant she gives up fighting what she feels.

Its name works twice over: the rain is real, and the weekend is also the moment the pair’s relationship heats up. Mona’s Worst Enemy spreads comparable friction between step-siblings over fifteen episodes, whereas this story moves swiftly, opening with annoyance, adding a complication midway and ending with Roxy changing her mind.

Confession: I started it expecting a filler piece between the longer titles, yet I watched the whole arc in one go and never looked at the time remaining.

On the official page in September 2026 the five episodes are numbered rather than titled, each lasting between one and three minutes.

Watching everything takes roughly fifteen minutes. Its category on the platform is Girls, with the Stepsister tag.

• Roxy leads. Guarded and quick with a retort, she has always kept her private life hidden from the family, until this weekend takes that choice away.
• The stepbrother has no name in the public blurb; he keeps looking, pays too much attention, and is why the weekend derails.

Both are AI-generated. Under the platform’s terms, characters and storylines are entirely invented, and no real person is shown.

By the end of episode two I rated the writing above the premise; a few of Roxy’s retorts made me laugh, which this title’s name did not lead me to expect.

Content notes

Explicit rating. The paid three contain the nudity and sex scenes, and the title hints at the direction of the arc. You must be at least 18 to watch, and no app store carries the platform. Episodes 1 and 2 never go beyond the setup, and brief teasers for the series on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube contain nothing explicit. Review verdict

Two characters, one house, five episodes: that is all it takes, and the title reveals the destination before you press play. Longer Candy Shorts runs can lose momentum around the halfway mark; this one is too short for that. Using a single location also keeps the AI-generated visuals consistent across episodes.

Depth is the price of that speed. Viewers wanting more characters and more space should look at Caught Between Sisters. For a complete first taste of the catalog, however, this is a strong choice: episodes 1 and 2 reveal whether the tone clicks, and finishing the remaining three is cheap.

I meant to sample it and ended up telling a friend to begin the catalog here: not the best series, merely the easiest to complete over a single cup of coffee.
