Quick answer
Checked October 2026Searched for as Stepsis Summer, Stepsister Summer is a Candy Shorts series with five episodes. Once the father leaves town for the summer, the viewer’s character is left in a house with a new stepsister named Brooklyn, plus her stepmother and a friend of hers. A free Candy.ai account covers the first two episodes, while the last three need Premium or tokens, and those paid episodes carry an explicit rating. A different series, Your New Stepsister, is its own five-episode release headed by DarkAngel, and it sits on the same plan.

The setup
Candy Shorts is Candy.ai’s short-video product, which lives on candyshorts.com and in a Candy Shorts tab within candy.ai itself. Stepsister Summer, often searched for as Stepsis Summer, is one of its five-episode titles. School is out and the father is away for work, which leaves you in the house with Brooklyn, your new stepsister. The official blurb says the summer brings attention from three directions: Brooklyn herself, her stepmother and a friend of hers each develop an interest in the protagonist. The story tracks all three once the house has lost its referee.
Most of the Candy AI series list runs on two characters; this one is an ensemble. Brooklyn is the namesake and carries the primary storyline, but the stepmother and friend each get separate scenes and add a real complication. With three threads packed into five episodes, nothing is allowed to linger.
A vacation story lasting five short episodes was not what I expected to keep thinking about, yet this household has more going on than titles three times as long.
Easy to confuse: DarkAngel, a goth streamer character, headlines Your New Stepsister, a distinct Candy Shorts title that also has five episodes. The two share the Stepsister tag, and teasers for both circulate on TikTok and YouTube. One way to tell them apart is the official URL: Stepsister Summer’s contains brooklyn-ashford, while the other’s contains darkangel666.
Episode guide
As of September 2026, the official page lists five numbered episodes without titles or individual summaries, so the table below sticks to what the platform shows. Episodes 3 to 5 carry a New flag on candy.ai, episode 1 lasts 1:11, and with each episode between one and three minutes the whole run adds up to ten to fifteen minutes.
| Episodes | Access | Story beats |
|---|---|---|
| Episodes 1 to 2 | Free account | You meet the family and see the father leave; episode 1 is 1:11 long. |
| Episodes 3 to 5 | Premium subscription, or tokens | Carried the New flag in September 2026; this is where the three storylines escalate, and none of these episodes has an official title. |
Who is who
- Brooklyn Ashford is the stepsister and the lead, confident and inquisitive, and the first to push boundaries once her father is gone.
- The stepmother has only recently joined the household, and she is pulled throughout between loyalty to her new marriage and the mood around her.
- The friend is the third source of pressure, the reason the story turns into a triangle rather than a family drama.
All three characters are AI-generated, and the platform’s terms say each one is fictional, with no real person portrayed. The cast contains no licensed digital twin from Candy Creators.
After the free half, I find myself most curious about the stepmother, and I would happily watch a version of the series centered on her.
Free or paid
Episodes 1 and 2 open with a free Candy.ai account, while the final three need Premium. September 2026 prices were $3.99 a month on a twelve-month term, $8.99 a month if you commit to three months, or $13.99 for one month paid alone. The Candy.ai app also lets you open individual episodes with tokens. Our pricing guide explains the tiers.
With just three episodes paywalled, it ranks among the least expensive series to complete by either payment route, and Your New Stepsister is covered by the same Premium plan. For a fuller look at the free tier, read our rundown of free access.
Content warning
Rated explicit: nudity and sex scenes are confined to the paid episodes, while the two free ones carry the setup. The TikTok, Instagram and YouTube teasers show nothing explicit. Its tags are Stepsister and Stepmom, the audience has to be at least 18, and the series streams on the web, outside app stores. The step-family premise is a fiction trope with adult characters, and no real people appear. Our ratings explainer covers how classifications work across the catalog.
How to watch it
There are two official routes. One is candyshorts.com, which has a dedicated page for the series; the other is the Candy Shorts section of candy.ai, in the Girls category filtered by the Stepsister tag. You must register and pass an age check either way. Be wary of anything that ends in a Telegram invite, a download link, or a payment-card form presented as age verification: it is either bait or a bootleg, as our guide to leaked Candy AI Shorts explains. We are independent of Candy.ai and EverAI Ltd., and the platform links on this page may be affiliate links.
Review verdict
Ambition is this series’ calling card: it runs three storylines in the room most titles give one. The approach largely pays off, because scenes are short, the stakes are clear, and the one vacation location keeps the AI visuals steady. What suffers is depth; no one relationship gets the space that Roxy’s Wet Weekend grants its smaller cast.
Anyone who wants a finished story without a fifteen-episode bill can start with this series or Your New Stepsister. The latter is the tighter vehicle for its lead, while Stepsister Summer is the more crowded watch. For something longer with genuine build-up, look at Caught Between Sisters, which runs fifteen episodes.
Disclosure: I meant to write a brief note on the naming confusion and ended up watching the entire series twice, the second time to test my hunch that the friend’s subplot is underused. It is.
What works
- Three storylines in five episodes, with short scenes and clear stakes, so nothing lingers.
- Staying in one vacation setting keeps the AI imagery steady.
- Only three episodes are paid, which makes it one of the cheapest titles to finish.
What could be better
- No single relationship gets much depth.
- The friend’s subplot is underused.
- The episodes carry no official titles or per-episode summaries.
Frequently asked questions
What does Stepsis Summer refer to?
It is the common shorthand for Stepsister Summer, a Candy Shorts series with five episodes. Over summer vacation the father leaves for work, and the viewer’s character ends up in a house with Brooklyn Ashford, his new stepsister, along with her stepmother and a friend of hers. It is tagged Stepsister and Stepmom and is filed under Girls on candyshorts.com.
How long does the series run?
Five episodes. As of September 2026, the official page showed five numbered episodes and no individual titles or synopses. Episode 1 is 1:11 long, and episodes 3 to 5 carry the New flag on candy.ai; since each runs one to three minutes, the whole arc takes about ten to fifteen minutes.
Can I watch it for free?
Partly. Episodes 1 and 2 come with a free Candy.ai account. For the other three you need Premium, or you can unlock them with tokens in the Candy.ai app. Premium ranges from $3.99 a month on a twelve-month term to $13.99 for one month. Pages that give away the paid episodes are bait or bootleg copies.
Is Your New Stepsister another name for this series?
No. The goth streamer character DarkAngel, who also features in the Candy.ai chat product, fronts Your New Stepsister, a five-episode title of its own. Brooklyn Ashford stars here. They share the Stepsister tag and one Premium plan, but each has its own series page and story.
Is there nudity?
Yes, but only in the paid episodes: the explicit rating applies to episodes 3 to 5, which contain nudity and sex scenes, whereas the free two stay with the setup. Social teasers from Candy AI on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube leave out anything explicit. Everyone watching must be 18 or older, and the cast is entirely AI-generated fiction.
Where can I watch it officially?
On candyshorts.com through the series page, or inside candy.ai in the Candy Shorts section, in the Girls category filtered by the Stepsister tag. You must register and clear an age check either way. Anything that ends in a Telegram invite, a download link or a card form is bait or a bootleg copy.
