Mona’s Worst Enemy reviewed: is a stepsibling feud worth fifteen episodes?

What the series is about

I did not think a step-sibling feud could carry me through fifteen episodes, but it did, and it is the title I now recommend first to anyone new to Candy Shorts.

Mona Newman runs her life by rules: her timetable, her territory and her viewpoints are all arranged to her taste. Then a family arrangement puts her stepbrother David under the same roof. He is calm, confident and unbothered by other people’s systems. The Candy AI listing calls him a “giga chad.” Everything else hinges on how badly the two fit in one house.

It is built as enemies-to-something through forced proximity. House rules, kitchens and bathrooms become the battleground, every argument ratchets up the heat, and the hostility is evidently masking something different.

Episode guide: the full run of fifteen

As of September 2026, candyshorts.com lists fifteen numbered episodes, triple the five episodes typical of a Candy AI launch. Only a title that performs gets stretched this far. Episode 1 lasts roughly 90 seconds, the remaining episodes last one to three minutes apiece, and the story is designed to be seen in order.

The candyshorts.com listing files it under the Girls category, with the Stepsister tag, and it also turns up in the Candy characters filter. Anyone can see the poster and premise without logging in, but playing an episode needs you to be logged in, and Episode 3 onward also needs a plan.

The two leads

Mona Newman

She is the protagonist and our viewpoint: tidy-minded, ready with a retort and easily provoked. Mona is a Candy character, which means the same persona doubles as a chat companion in Candy AI, with a message button appearing once an episode ends.

David

Her stepbrother and the title’s enemy. He is big, unruffled and has no interest in following Mona’s rules; his indifference sets off almost every turn of the plot.

What you pay: free pair, Premium and tokens

After the two free episodes my honest view is this: the opening is tighter than most Candy Shorts starts, and the paywall arrives exactly when you want episode three. That is surely by design.

Rating and content

It is rated explicit. The operator classifies it as 18+ adult content, offered via the web and Discord, not app stores. The paid episodes contain nudity and sex scenes. The first two episodes only build the setup, and the TikTok, Instagram and YouTube teasers show nothing adult because those networks prohibit it. Our verdict

Taken as short-form storytelling, this is the most confident work Candy Shorts has turned out. A cast of two keeps the AI output consistent, the squabbling generates the scenes, and fifteen episodes leave space for a real arc rather than a single extended tease. The weak spots come with the format: dialogue that spells out its subtext, and visuals that reveal an AI origin to a trained eye.

If you are still unsure about Candy AI Shorts, this is where most viewers start, and the two free episodes make a fair trial. If the tone appeals, a single Premium month is the sensible route to the remainder.

One last confession: I rewatched a middle episode, purely for an argument about house rules. The writing is stronger than the premise implies.
