Student Bodies reviewed: Bonnie Blue's twin and a one-day campus record

Premise: a record, a livestream and a shy camera operator

I expected a gimmick riding a headline, and the opening minute delivers precisely that. The shy kid holding the camera is what kept me watching, because he gives the stunt a person to root for.

Student Bodies was released as a tie-up with Bonnie Blue, with her digital twin in the lead and Bonnie Blue x candy.ai branding. According to the platform's description, her character arrives on a college campus intending to break a record within one day, with her followers watching the attempt live. The record concerns the male student body, hence the title.

A secondary storyline follows a lone student who stands apart from that crowd. He is the shy, inexperienced one holding the camera, and the star adds a side project: building up his confidence before the day is over. Nothing else in the Candy Creators lineup draws as heavily on a performer's off-screen reputation. Bonnie Blue's fame grew out of publicized challenge events that were streamed live, and the series copies that format. Episode list and badges

In September 2026 the series page on candyshorts.com listed five numbered episodes. On the Candy.ai side, the title appeared under the Shorts featuring Creators heading; earlier that month it carried a New Episodes badge, which was gone by September 24. Episode 1 lasts exactly a minute, and the rest range from one to three minutes. Because the story covers a single day, watch in order. The platform labels episodes by number only, so the table groups them in ranges.

Who is on screen

• Bonnie Blue (digital twin): the star and the plot's driving force. A generated likeness licensed through Candy Creators and marked with the x candy.ai branding; nothing about her on screen was filmed.
• The student with the camera: shy, and deliberately not part of the stunt; he streams it instead. His storyline carries the emotional weight.
• The student body: the nameless crowd on the quad, seen crowding around the lead on the poster.

Free versus paid

The usual Candy Shorts rule applies. Make a free account and pass the age check, and Episodes 1 and 2 play in full. Anything from Episode 3 onward, future additions included, needs a Premium plan. Because the series is not Spicy-tagged, it keeps its two free episodes, unlike Blackout at My Yacht Party, a Spicy title with nothing free. Our verdict

Confession: I would not have picked a campus-record premise from the feed myself, yet I watched all five episodes in one sitting, and no other creator series opens as economically as that one-minute first episode.

Its biggest strength is focus: a single day, a single quad and a ticking clock give the story a structure few Candy Shorts titles manage, and the camera operator's arc ensures that somebody actually changes between episodes. No other creator series fits its persona to its script this closely, because the plot copies what the actual Bonnie Blue does publicly.

The weakness is the same reputation. A viewer indifferent to the publicity stunts behind Bonnie Blue's fame will not be won over by a scripted version, and the setup gives surprises little room. Five brief episodes do not justify a Premium subscription on their own; the series suits a plan you already pay for, next to the other reviews in our series index.
