Professor Mia reviewed: Mia Malkova’s twin, a lecture hall and a paywall from the first episode

Premise: a counseling session that changes hands

Candy.ai markets the series as a joint project under the name Mia Malkova x candy.ai, with her AI digital twin as the lead. The platform's own logline runs like this: a professor meets privately with a troubled student, the punishment slides into forbidden territory, and the story changes direction when the principal arrives and demands a say of her own. The poster sums up the scene with a professor in a red blouse and glasses, a lecture hall at her back and the student further off.

The poster earned my click, and the principal subplot is what made me curious about the paid episodes. A third character is a smart addition to a format this short.

Candy AI's first two Mia Malkova series are both instructor stories. Private Lessons places the twin in a yoga studio, and Professor Mia carries the instructor dynamic into a lecture hall with a third character added. Candy.ai restricts this one more heavily, and its card wears the Spicy tag with a flame icon. Two stepmother series featuring her twin, both non-Spicy, followed in the window from October 7 to 12, 2026, including My Stepmom Mia Malkova Needs a Date.

Episodes and access

As of September 2026 the platform lists five episodes. Rather than describing them one at a time, we sorted them by the factors a viewer feels: price and status. Each lasts about 1-3 minutes.

Inside the Shorts tab on candy.ai it is listed twice: once in the Shorts featuring Creators group and once among the Spicy-filtered titles. candyshorts.com does not list it, so searching for “Professor Mia all episodes” ends up at the main Candy.ai feed. A New episodes badge was attached earlier in September 2026 and has since gone.

Cast

• Professor Mia: an AI twin modeled on Mia Malkova, styled to match her look and offered through the Candy Creators program; a synthetic likeness rather than recorded footage.
• The student: an AI-made character, nameless in the listing, whose punishment kicks off the plot.
• The principal: enters partway and changes the dynamic of the early episodes; likewise AI-made.

All faces on screen are AI-generated. According to the platform's terms, no real person appears, and creator twins are sanctioned, licensed partnerships, while the performer does not film anything for the series. Every creator with an official twin is listed in our digital twins guide.

What it costs

The paywall on Episode 1 stung briefly. The flame icon had warned me from the start, so the annoyance faded fast.

No episode of this series is free. The Spicy label is new for 2026. Of the 162 series listed on October 17, 2026, fourteen carried it, and in practice it removes the pair of complimentary episodes that most series begin with. Good Boy For Stepmom is one of them. Bella, My Step-Daughter is another. On a free account the series appears in the feed with its poster, but tapping play on Episode 1 brings up a Premium prompt.

Premium costs $3.99 per month with annual billing and $13.99 when paid monthly, and it covers every series, Spicy ones included. It appears with its flame icon under Shorts featuring Creators and under the Spicy filter. Pages that claim to host the episodes as downloads or “leaked” packs are bait or pirated copies; our explainer on Candy AI leaks shows how they work.

Review verdict

Of Mia Malkova’s first two Candy Shorts series, this is the stronger one. A third character, the principal, gives the plot a direction that Private Lessons never finds, and the newly flagged Episodes 3-5 are where the story cashes that in. The twin looks convincing in still frames and largely holds up when it moves. Existing Premium subscribers should add it to their list.

The drawback is where the paywall sits. A Spicy series asks for money up front, with no free preview episode, and at roughly 1-3 minutes each, five episodes make a brief sitting for a month’s price. Our suggestion is to begin with the free first two episodes of Private Lessons, judge whether the twin and tone suit you, then return here.

I followed that order myself and have no regrets about it.

What works

• A three-character setup, with a professor, a student and a principal, that gives the story more direction than Private Lessons has.
• Episodes 3-5 carry the New flag in the Shorts feed, and the plot continues without a reset between episodes.
• The licensed twin of Mia Malkova looks convincing in still frames and largely holds up in motion.

What could be better

• There are no free episodes: the Spicy tag means Premium is required from Episode 1, at $3.99 to $13.99 per month.
• At about 1-3 minutes each, five episodes are a short sit for a month’s cost.
• The listing never names the student, and the series is available only inside candy.ai, with no listing on candyshorts.com.
