I was intrigued by the horns before reading a single line of the blurb. Setting the story at a costume party is a handy way to keep a stepmother in every scene.

Series 314 has episode IDs 1035 to 1039. It was missing from the catalog at 21:18 UTC on October 7, 2026 and present at 08:05 UTC on October 12, and nothing narrows that gap. Her story here is the first centered on a household plus a crowd of guests, and the red-dress sibling narrows the focus to a single stepson over one evening.

Two further series share the setup of a girlfriend’s relative. The original-cast loyalty-test series confines a boyfriend to a single house, and the one-night-stand series gives Asa Akira’s twin a secret she must keep from her daughter. The pretext here is simpler: a party in which the games are never fair.

The charm lies in the mechanism. A stepmother who quietly tilts each game toward the same pairing gives a five-episode story a move it can repeat, and a costume party brings a crowd, a pretext and a deadline of one weekend. Judging by the poster, the tone is playful, which sets it apart from the teacher roles in her earlier series.

The reservations concern depth. The synopsis reveals the whole gimmick, the girlfriend hardly features in it, and spending 90 tokens means trusting a one-line device. The free pair can tell you if the fixed games are amusing, though not whether they evolve.

I would call myself curious, not yet convinced. A fresh twist at the end of episode 2 would get my 90 tokens; a repeat of episode 1 would not.
