As premises go, this is about as lean as the platform gets: no rivalry to establish, no campus to populate, only a house with no exit and a question the title has already answered. The lean setup makes it a sensible starting point for anyone wondering how Candy Shorts manages a two-character story.

The last three episodes are where the interest lies. A loyalty test can only conclude or intensify, and those episodes reveal which direction the writers chose. The shortcoming is common to every Candy Shorts title: a few minutes make a short story rather than a season, and paying for Premium on this series alone is a weak argument unless the wider catalog appeals to you.
