Blackout at My Yacht Party, reviewed: a Riley Reid twin, one boat, no free episodes

What the series is about

Think of this series as the one-night event in Riley Reid’s Candy AI catalog. Her digital twin throws a summer party aboard a yacht under a Black Out theme, and the viewer plays the cameraboy she has hired to film the night for her audience. Midway through, the platform teases, the host decides the cameraboy belongs in front of the lens, not behind it. It all happens in one place over one evening, with guests who multiply as the party grows.

The poster did most of my deciding: red neon above a boat deck, with guests crowding behind the host. I had clicked before reading a word of the blurb.

Her other Candy Shorts titles lean toward household dramas, so the yacht stands out for its setting and for its access rules. Episode guide

The platform showed six numbered episodes as of September 2026. A New Episodes badge sat on the series for a time, since the platform applies it to titles it keeps extending after launch. By September 25, 2026 it had been removed, and nothing past episode 6 is listed. Each episode runs about one to three minutes, and they play in order, so the night builds as a sequence instead of separate clips. The table sorts them by access.

Who is in it

• Riley Reid’s digital twin: the hostess, at the center of every episode. She is an AI-generated likeness published as Riley Reid x candy.ai, the platform’s collaboration label; the real performer shot none of the footage.
• The cameraboy: the part you play. He begins as hired help, and the appeal lies in how quickly that shifts.
• The guests: the crowd on the poster, which swells as the evening goes on. The platform treats them as unnamed party guests rather than characters with names.

Cost: no episode is free

During 2026 Candy.ai introduced the Spicy tag for a small group of titles: fourteen of a 162-series catalog as of the October 17, 2026 count. Each of the fourteen gives up the two complimentary episodes found on other series. We review them one by one, starting with the newest, Stepmom Fixes My Grades, and including My Girlfriend’s Stepsister and Tori’s Broken Vows. A free account lets you scroll the Shorts feed, yet the first episode of any Spicy title already needs a Premium plan. At the time of writing that plan ran $13.99 for one month, or $3.99 monthly if you committed for a year. The paywall placement bothers me a little. Two free episodes are normally how I decide whether a series earns my evening, and here the decision rests on a poster and two lines of blurb.

Content and age notes

Short promos posted to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube are edited to fit each platform’s rules and contain nothing adult. Our nudity guide covers the topic one series at a time.

How to watch it legitimately

Watch it through candy.ai’s Candy Shorts tab and nowhere else. There the series is listed in Shorts featuring Creators and also behind the Spicy filter, and both routes sit beyond the age gate and plan check. It is absent from candyshorts.com. A copy offered under this name elsewhere is pirated or bait, and our guide to leaked episodes covers how those pages operate.

Our verdict

I binged the launch batch in a single sitting, then returned for Episodes 3 to 6 as they arrived. A party gives the writers an excuse to shift the mood every episode, and you can tell.

In its favor: the format. A yacht party over one evening makes a neater setup than the usual step-family living room, and the guest list’s steady growth builds momentum that household titles sometimes lack. The New Episodes badge from September 2026 suggested the platform was still investing after launch, though it removed the badge by September 25, 2026 without adding a seventh episode.

Against it: the access rule. With nothing free, you commit to a Premium plan and see nothing first, so this is not a good place for newcomers to start. If you are on the fence, try My Wife’s Best Friend first, which gives away Episodes 1 and 2, and sail back here when you are sure this style appeals to you.

What works

• A one-night party setting that lets each episode shift the mood.
• Six episodes that play in order, so the evening builds as a sequence.
• A clear hook for the viewer: the cameraboy who ends up in the shot.

What could be better

• No free episodes at all: paying is mandatory from the very first one.
• Only a two-line blurb and a poster to go on before paying.
• Unnamed guests, and nothing listed past episode 6 now that the New Episodes badge is gone.
