BAD Step-Sister, reviewed: a summer guest, a girlfriend and one secret

The setup

Two new Candy Shorts titles appeared on candy.ai in the three days after our first look on September 25, 2026, and this was one of them. Its series ID is 291, its episodes run from ID 905 to 909, and at that moment only one title on the platform ranked newer.

From the platform’s own summary: Daisy, the step-sister named in the title, spends the season at her step-brother’s place, and his girlfriend lives just down the hall. A wedding night set off something between Daisy and him, and it is now a habit he has been unable to quit. The girlfriend chooses not to end things and instead asks to be included. The listing never says whose wedding it was, and we will not speculate.

The poster got my click, but what kept me watching was episode 2, whose dialogue is better than an all-caps title promises.

Arrival and artwork

Counting Spicy titles, candy.ai’s whole catalog held 122 series when we looked on September 25, 2026; by September 28 the count was 124. The two additions were this title and My Girlfriend’s Sister Just Got Divorced, so we cannot date the launch any more closely. The New filter showed it on September 28 and still did at our October 2 check, but it was gone by October 5, 2026. Otherwise the listing stayed the same.

The poster is what stands out: an anime-style illustration instead of the usual photographic look. Daisy appears in cow-print ears and horns, with a travel bag, a yellow sundress and white hair.

Episode guide

Five numbered episodes appeared on the page for the series at our September 28, 2026 check, with no titles or summaries attached, which limits the table below to access details. Each runs one to three minutes, the standard length.

The cast

Each of the three is an adult drawn from the platform’s own roster, filed under Candy characters in the catalog filter. Since no Candy Creators twin takes part, no real performer’s likeness is used.

What it costs

The series has no Spicy tag, so the usual arrangement applies: register on Candy.ai, complete the age check, and the first pair plays without charge. The last three unlock for 12 tokens each or through Premium. Buying tokens in the 100-token pack at $9.99, the full 36 would run about $3.60. My test for a five-episode series is simple: when the last free episode leaves me with a question I care about, spending 36 tokens is reasonable. This one passes, although payment is still ahead of me.

The series lives in the Candy Shorts section of candy.ai, at the slug bad-step-sister. Registration comes first, then an age gate, and then the first two episodes play free. Compared with similar titles

Among our other reviews, Stepsister Summer is the nearest relative, built around Brooklyn, a step-sister arriving for the season, though the third person there is a stepmother, not a girlfriend. My Step-Sister’s Dormitory and Bonnie Blue is My Stepsister, both creator titles, are built around licensed twins, whereas the cast here is original. Caught Between Sisters uses a secret as leverage and stretches the plot across fifteen episodes. A Spicy-only series called My Girlfriend’s Stepsister sounds similar but is a different title, with no free episodes.

Our verdict

The best idea here is a triangle whose third corner has agency. Step-sibling stories usually keep a secret between two people, but in this one the girlfriend gets a decision of her own, and the listing says so up front. The illustrated poster adds a small bonus.

Reasons for caution: the paid episodes are untested, the wedding-night backstory goes unresolved on the listing, and five brief episodes make it hard for three characters to get full motivation. Watching the free pair is the sensible first step; if the girlfriend’s turn interests you, 36 tokens is a low-cost way to find out whether the series delivers on it.

Daisy comes across as more playful than threatening, so the capital-letter title oversells her badness. I prefer her that way.
