What happens on the honeymoon

A week after the wedding, Tom and Ava are on their honeymoon at a beach resort when Ava’s mother turns up. She has taken the neighboring room, which has a door connecting the two, and informs the couple that their marriage will not survive the week. Lexi Luna’s licensed digital twin plays her in this series.

A note on naming: this review is about the Candy AI video series featuring Lexi Luna’s twin. It does not cover the webcomic, nor the real-life stories published under the same name. The poster is co-branded Lexi Luna x candy.ai and shows her twin next to a resort pool, while a white-shirted man stands behind her.

I assumed the connecting door would be the selling point, but the deadline is what stayed with me. Giving a marriage one week supplies a short episode with a built-in clock.

Where it landed in the catalog

Series 318 did not show in the snapshot we took on October 7, 2026, yet it was there on October 12, so we cannot date it more precisely. The catalog grew from 142 to 149 series with seven newcomers, and by ID this was the sixth of them. Three of the seven were creator series, which took Candy Creators from 15 series to 18. Its ID is the highest of those three, so it was the latest creator series on October 12. Riley Reid’s Forbidden Stepdaddy (ID 310) had held that title on October 7, and Our Host Is Riley Reid (ID 327) took over between October 12 and 17.

Episode guide

Five episodes are listed, identified only by number, with no titles or per-episode blurbs. Each falls in the platform’s short format of one to three minutes, though we have not timed them, and nothing follows episode 5.

The cast

• Tom: the groom, one week into married life.
• Ava: the bride, and the daughter of the woman next door.
• The mother, played by Lexi Luna’s digital twin: the neighboring guest who sets the one-week deadline.

How this fits with her other series

Her debut series, Thanksgiving With My Best Friend’s Mom, casts her twin as the mother of a friend, with two free episodes and 30 tokens each after that. The second, My Step-Son’s Bully, is tagged Spicy and offers no free episodes. With three series to her name, she is outnumbered only by Riley Reid with seven and Mia Malkova with four.

Asa Akira’s twin takes the girlfriend’s-mother role in My One-Night Stand Is My Girlfriend’s Mom and has something to conceal; the mother-in-law here hides nothing and announces her prediction on arrival.

Pricing: 30 tokens per locked episode

A free account is enough for episodes 1 and 2. Each of the other three costs 30 tokens, 90 in total, which comes to about $9 if you buy the entry-level pack of 100 tokens at $9.99. Series with an original cast charge 12 tokens per episode instead.

Premium swaps tokens for a subscription. It cost $13.99 for one month. The three-month plan was $8.99 per month, and the twelve-month plan was $47.88 up front, equal to $3.99 per month. I have not spent the 90 tokens yet. With a free account I can hear the mother’s forecast, though I cannot learn if she turns out to be correct.

Where to watch it

There are two official routes: candyshorts.com, or candy.ai, where the series sits in its Candy Shorts section, within the Shorts that feature Creators. Both require registration and an age check before anything plays. Reposts, Telegram channels and pages that promise all five episodes without a login are either unauthorized copies or traps meant to collect card details. The series address on the platform ends in -2.

Our verdict

The clock is the smartest decision here. A marriage that supposedly will not make it through the week gives every installment urgency, and a connecting door needs no explanation. Having Lexi Luna’s twin as the mother-in-law supplies a central figure the story can revolve around.

The free pair reveals little, which is the main weakness: the synopsis already states the setup, so everything rides on the three locked episodes, which cost well over the 12-token episodes of the original-cast catalog.

My verdict for the moment: promising, but unproven. The free pair works like a trailer, and I will find out whether the series lingers with me.
