The Anniversary Massage, reviewed: a 90-minute present and a wife in the next room

The premise: a gift on a 90-minute clock

Here the gift is the story. Lauren’s anniversary present to her husband Dan is a 90-minute home massage. Veronica, the masseuse, gives him what the platform describes as “the full treatment”, and Lauren stays busy in the next room. It is an original series set in a single house, with three named characters. In the poster art a man sprawls face down across a massage table up front, while behind him a blonde woman wrapped in a white towel presses one finger against her lips in a dimly lit room.

I have a weakness for a booked appointment with a twist, and a present is the most courteous reason to let a professional into the house.

Arrival: newest title on October 12, 2026

Launch dates are never published, so we can only bracket this one: our October 7 look at 21:18 UTC showed nothing under this name, and our October 12 look at 08:05 UTC did. Series 319 has episodes numbered 1060 through 1065, the top of the range at that point, so it ranked as the newest title in the catalog, while What They Don’t Know (311) remained the newest Spicy title. Seven titles showed up in the interval, which raised the total from 142 to 149; none of the seven carries a Spicy tag. Of the original-cast arrivals we have followed, this is the first with six episodes instead of five. By October 17, My Wife’s Dance Instructor (333) had taken over as the newest.

Episode guide

The listing shows six numbered episodes, each without a title or blurb. Candy Shorts’ format sets them at one to three minutes, which we have not checked with a timer.

The three characters

• Lauren arranges the massage and works next door during the session.
• Dan is Lauren’s husband and the one getting the present.
• Veronica is the masseuse.

No ages appear in the listing. Each of the three is an adult created for the platform’s in-house cast, and the Candy Creators program, the one that licenses real performers, is not involved.

Naming three people in a blurb this short is generous. Most blurbs here leave the cast nameless, as “the husband” or “the neighbor”.

Cost: tokens or Premium

Without a Spicy tag, the paywall begins at episode 3. The paid four cost 12 tokens apiece, 48 in all, roughly $4.80 using the $9.99 pack of 100 tokens, which is $1.20 above what a five-episode series costs. Token prices had not changed by our October 12 check. Premium unlocks the entire catalog and, as of September 2026, ran from $13.99 for a single month to $3.99 a month on a yearly commitment. • My Wife Hired My Nurse has a wife engage a home nurse and leave for work, so patient and nurse are alone. Here the wife is a room away and has booked the visit as a present.

Our verdict

What I like most is the appointment format: a booking has a start and a finish, plus a professional who has a reason to be in the house, a tighter fit for episodes of one to three minutes than an open-ended houseguest. Framing it as a gift also gives the wife a role beyond simply being away.

My reservation is a familiar one: the blurb announces where it is headed, so any tension has to be generated by the wall separating two rooms, and with only six short episodes that well may run dry quickly. The free pair will show whether it holds; the four locked episodes cost under five dollars in tokens.

The final four remain locked for me. At $4.80 I really should just pay, and my delay reflects a crowded watchlist more than any doubt about the series.
