My Dad's Bride Wants Me First! reviewed: a wedding-day deadline in five episodes

The premise: a best man and a wedding Saturday

The setup is a father's wedding on Saturday with you as his best man. The bride (your stepmother-to-be) has her stepsister as maid of honor, and while your dad waits one room over she makes it known that she wants you. The synopsis speaks to you directly and fills the story with wedding-day errands such as the dress zipper and the garter. Tags on the platform read Stepmom, Wife and Taboo.

The maid of honor, the groom, the bride and the son, who is of an age to serve as best man, are all adults and all fictional. On the poster, white flowers surround the blonde bride, who wears a white robe and a veil plus glasses; behind her stand a man with dark hair and a woman wearing a pink bikini.

The word in the title that keeps pulling me back is "first." Set against a Saturday wedding, it reads as a deadline.

Arrival window: October 7 to 12, 2026

Among the seven series that arrived in that window, 312 has the lowest ID, and its episodes run 1025 to 1029. The evening snapshot we took on October 7 did not show it. On October 12, at 08:05 UTC, a New Episodes badge marked it in the listings. In total the seven raised the series count from 142 to 149, and none of the seven is Spicy.

Who is in the wedding party

Our verdict

The series' main asset is a date. Saturday weddings come with a guest list and a timetable, which gives the best man a pretext to stay close to the bride, and the errands hand each short episode a task. The blunt title sticks in the memory.

The danger is a premise that the synopsis uses up immediately: the bride's desire is spelled out, so the tension will depend on how the day is spent, a heavy burden for five short episodes. Whether the Saturday is put to work or just announced should be visible in the free pair.

I have seen just the free pair. Whether the paid episodes treat the wedding as more than scenery is what 36 tokens would answer for me, and I am tempted.
