I Drove My Girlfriend’s Stepsister To College reviewed: one favor, five short episodes

Premise and poster

Hanna wants a favor from her boyfriend: a lift to college for her stepsister Kenzie. The platform’s synopsis adds only that studying is not Kenzie’s plan for the trip, then stops, so the road and its detours are left to the episodes. Kenzie is an adult enrolled at college, and so is everyone else in the cast. In the poster art she sits in the front passenger seat of a car, dressed in a green cardigan and gray top, with a prairie landscape behind, and the title artwork ends with “to college”.

My own campus drop-off had a wrong turn as its biggest drama. Stories always get the more exciting road.

Our catalog snapshot at 08:05 UTC on October 12 lacked this series, and the one at 18:15 UTC on October 17 had it, so it landed in the gap; candy.ai does not publish launch dates. Its episode IDs run from 1071 to 1075, and the series number is 321. The catalog grew from 149 titles to 162 over a run of thirteen additions, and this was the lowest-numbered of them. Episodes are numbered 1 to 5 and carry neither a title nor a blurb. No running times are listed; the stated length is one to three minutes per episode, and we have not timed any.

Who is in the car

• Hanna is the one who asks for the favor.
• Kenzie is Hanna’s stepsister and the college student getting the ride. At the end the series invites you to start a conversation with Kenzie Whitaker on Candy AI.
• The driver is the boyfriend Hanna asks, and he tells the story: he is the “I” in the title. Nobody names him in the listing.

The trio are adult characters from Candy characters, the platform’s own original cast. None of the roles is a licensed Candy Creators twin.

Tokens versus Premium

Each locked episode is priced at 12 tokens, so the final trio come to 36, about $3.60 if you purchase tokens in the 100-token pack at $9.99. Premium unlocks every series in the catalog, and in September 2026 its prices ranged from $13.99 for one month down to $3.99 a month for those committing to a year. Review verdict

A drive fits short episodes well: it has a start, a destination, a college gate that acts as a clock, and a pair of seats that asks less of the animation than a house with many exits. The favor also matters because Hanna’s trust is on the line.

Our concern is distance: five clips may not cover much road. Since the synopsis already reveals the trip’s direction, suspense must be built from the journey itself, and drives exhaust their detours quickly. Episodes 1 and 2 will show whether the series can make a short trip last; the paid three cost less than five dollars in tokens.

So far I have watched just the free pair. Should the paid episodes keep the destination in sight, I will happily admit the trip was worth the fare.

What could be better
