Quick answer
Checked October 2026Five episodes, one newly arrived tenant: this Candy Shorts series is told from his side. At 3 a.m. the neighbor across the hall, who is married, knocks because something needs repairing, and she keeps returning while her husband works nights. Candy AI listed it by September 23, 2026, with no theme tag. A Candy.ai account covers the first two episodes; the other three unlock with Premium or 12 tokens each, and they are rated explicit.

What the title promises
The title does most of the explaining here. Our hero has only just taken a place in a new building. The first knock lands at three a.m., and the married woman from across the hall wants a repair done. The next night brings another request, then another, always at that same hour. Her husband works nights, as the title says, and the platform’s description adds very little. We follow the newcomer’s perspective throughout, and the cast is Candy.ai’s original one.
No theme tag is assigned by the platform, which explains why the specs box lacks a Tags row. The earliest record we hold is from September 23, 2026, and the series was already in the New filter that day. It remained there through September 28 and was gone by September 30; no launch date has been published.
After the free two, my verdict on the gag: repetition is the joke, and the series is in on it. Once the second knock landed, I caught myself anticipating the third.
Episodes and access
The listing numbers five episodes and gives none a title or synopsis. Running time is roughly one to three minutes apiece, standard for Candy Shorts, and we did not time them. There is no Spicy tag here. Our September 25, 2026 check found ten other titles sharing the New filter with it.
| Episode | Free? | How to unlock |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Yes | A Candy.ai account with confirmed age; 0 tokens |
| 2 | Yes | Same route as episode 1; this is where free viewing ends |
| 3, 4 and 5 | No | Premium plan, or 12 tokens per locked episode in the app; carries the explicit rating |
The cast
- The new tenant: no name is given; he has just arrived and we see everything from his side.
- The woman across the hall: married, up at 3 a.m. with a repair job that cannot wait until daylight; her name is not given either.
- Her husband: works the night shift, so he is absent, which is his entire function.
Each character is a fictional adult generated by AI for the platform’s own roster. Candy Creators has no part in this one, so there is no licensed twin of any performer, and real people are not shown, per the platform’s terms.
In the free episodes the neighbor carries everything, and I enjoyed how thin her excuse is allowed to be; it feels deliberate.
What you pay
Without a Spicy tag the normal arrangement applies: a Candy.ai account with confirmed age gets you the first two episodes at no cost, and the other three stay locked. Premium unlocks all of them. Otherwise the app takes 12 tokens per episode, which totals 36 for the trio.
Premium prices as of September 2026: $13.99 for one month, $8.99 monthly on the three-month plan, and $3.99 monthly on the twelve-month plan, charged as $47.88 up front. Tokens are sold in packs from $9.99 for 100, which prices the locked trio at about $3.60. For how far an account without payment gets you, see our guide to free Candy AI episodes.
Content warning
18+ material. The paid tier on Candy Shorts is rated explicit; for this series that applies to episodes 3 through 5, with nudity and sex scenes, and the first two episodes only lay out the premise. It is fiction about adults, and we do not describe the paid episodes. What the ratings mean is spelled out in our nudity guide for Candy Shorts.
How to watch it officially
The legitimate routes are candy.ai, under Candy Shorts, and candyshorts.com. On candyshorts.com the apostrophe becomes a hyphen and the exclamation mark disappears, giving the slug my-neighbor-s-husband-works-nights. Both require you to sign up and confirm your age. A site streaming all five without those steps is likely a re-upload or a trap for card details; our guide to leaked Candy AI Shorts goes into why. We run independently: EverAI Ltd., Candy.ai and CandyShorts have no affiliation with us, and platform links on this page may earn us a commission without adding anything to your bill.
How it compares with three other series
| Series | Tags | Premise |
|---|---|---|
| Every Wife on Candy Lane | Wife, Taboo | A plumber who visits a single wife in each house of a suburban street when the husbands are away at work |
| The Maid My Wife Hired | Maid, Wife, Taboo | A wife brings in a young maid, then leaves for work, so husband and maid are by themselves from nine until eight |
| Roxy’s Wet Weekend | Stepsister | A weekend kept indoors by rain, a pushy stepbrother and a change of heart |
| My Neighbor’s Husband Works Nights! | None | A recent arrival, a married woman who lives across the hall, and a knock at 3 a.m. |
All four series run five episodes, and in every one the first pair is free. This is the sole title with no tag at all, and alongside Roxy’s Wet Weekend it is one of two built around one pair of characters instead of a rotating cast.
Review verdict
The strongest card is structure: a recurring joke on a fixed timetable suits episodes this brief, and the missing theme tag matters little when the title does the labeling.
Our doubts are plain enough. The husband is nothing but an absence, and a single repeated knock is slender material for five episodes. The description gives no hint that the story ever gets out of the hallway. The free pair costs only a login. Should you want to reach the third knock, the remaining episodes cost 36 tokens in total, or you can take Premium, which also covers the whole catalog.
A caveat before the lists: I have only sat through the first two episodes, so this verdict rests on the setup alone, not on the locked three.
What works
- The gag comes with its own timetable, which suits clips of one to three minutes.
- The title already says what the series is, so the missing theme tag costs nothing.
- The free pair needs only a login, and the other three come to 36 tokens (about $3.60) or a Premium plan.
What could be better
- One recurring knock gives five episodes little to hold on to.
- The husband is an absence and nothing more.
- The listing hints at no setting beyond the hallway.
Frequently asked questions
Can I watch this series without paying?
Two episodes, yes. A free Candy.ai account with an age confirmation streams episodes 1 and 2. Episodes 3, 4 and 5 need Premium (September 2026 prices start at $3.99 a month on the twelve-month plan and reach $13.99 for one month) or 12 tokens per episode in the app. There is no Spicy tag, so the normal pair of free episodes applies.
What is the plot?
A newcomer takes a place in a new building; the married woman from across the hall knocks at 3 a.m., needing something fixed. She returns at that same hour night after night, and her husband works nights. We see it all through the new tenant’s eyes over five short episodes, and the platform assigns no theme tag.
How many episodes are there, and when did it appear?
Five, numbered but with no titles or synopses, each lasting about one to three minutes, standard for Candy Shorts. The series was already listed on September 23, 2026, the earliest date in our records, and it was still in the New filter on both September 24 and September 25. The listing shows nothing after episode 5.
Is it part of the Candy Creators program?
Not at all. The three leads, a new tenant, a neighbor and her husband, come from Candy.ai’s own roster and are fictional adults made with AI, not licensed twins of real performers. That means no real likeness is involved, and the operator’s terms say nobody real is depicted. Our digital twins guides cover the creator-led titles on their own.
What would the locked episodes cost in tokens?
Each locked episode costs 12 tokens in the Candy.ai app, so the three come to 36 while the first two stay free. At September 2026 prices a token pack starts at $9.99 per 100, so all three episodes come to roughly $3.60. Premium unlocks them without tokens, while candyshorts.com needs only a subscription.
Does it include nudity?
Yes, in the paid part. The platform is 18+; episodes 1 and 2 only establish the setup, whereas episodes 3 to 5 carry the explicit rating that applies to the paid tier, nudity and sex scenes included. All characters are AI-generated adults, and neither a real person nor a real building is depicted.
